Genesis: 3, 5, 6: Events leading up to the flood

“When men began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married… “

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days – and also afterward – when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.”

These paragraphs definitely prove that God didn’t come to earth alone, but had a team of assistants from his race who looked just like him. Humans were obviously genetically engineered using their genes and that’s why they were able to mate and have healthy and heroic sons. Animals can’t produce offspring unless they belong to the same species.  

 It is not clear if God’s race was the Nephilim race or if Nephilim were just hanging around the earth and belonged to a different race of beings. The writing seems to suggest that sons of God married daughters of men, while Nephilim were just hanging around there at the time. It doesn’t say that Nephilim married women, so they could have been an entirely different species, and what they were doing on earth is not clear.  But, apparently, they were on earth then and later, meaning they came and went, and were probably not affected by the flood. Whether they were God’s associates, whether they worked with him or for him is not indicated. Their mention is so brief, that it has a feel of them not being associated with God, and not being his creations, and being independent of him.  In fact, the chapter 6 is rather negative, where God seems to be quite upset, so it is possible to infer from the mood of the chapter that God wasn’t pleased with Nephilim either, whoever they were, but couldn’t do anything about them – there were there then, and later.

The humans with lots of DNA from God’s race lived very long time, like 900 + years. God didn’t like that, He said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, his days will be a hundred and twenty years.” In fact, he was quite clear on the issue of not wanting men to live forever earlier, when he said, “He must not be allowed to take from the tree of life and eat and live forever.” And to make sure that doesn’t happen, “he placed ... cherubim and a flaming sword to guard the way to the tree of life.” And now his good-for-nothing assistants mating with the human women, and their children living hundreds of years - how annoying that must have been for God.

There is a sudden jump with no preliminaris to “The Lord saw how great man’s wickedness on the earth had become…” and to “I will wipe mankind from the face of the earth.”

But Noah’s family “found favor in the eyes of the Lord.”

I don’t believe it was the only family that was virtuous. But it could have been the only family with none of the daughters married to sons of God or with any children by them. And after God wiped out everyone else from the earth, the new generation of humans had drastically reduced life spans. All the children of the sons of Noah lived only 207 years! So it appears that God wiped people off the face of the earth to fix their life spans more in line with what he wanted, and also to get rid of all the descendants of sons of God. (I wonder if that was the beginning of Lucifer’s rebellion – the fact that God just drowned his family and all his children. I’d rebel too.)

So God drowned all the long-living humans, making an excuse that they were too evil, but kept one of them with him as pet, or an example of the experiment, or as Adam's replacement – Enoch. There is a clear distinction: everyone else it says, specifically, ‘died’, but of Enoch it says, “God took him away.” Before God took him away, Enoch “walked with God” since the age of 65, meaning that he was God’s pet since then, his minion, his brown-noser, something like that.
